Multi-layer parallel-construction deepwater mooring rope with inner core, filtration layer and external jacket. High strength with excellent abrasion, particle-ingress, chemical and UV resistance for platform station-keeping. Design and manufacture configured to the specific field conditions, per ISO 18692.

Engineered dual-component construction in high-performance polyamide 6.6: 12-strand braided core with polyamide braided cover, fitted with D-shackles, cast thimbles, PU coating and buoyancy floats. Manufactured and tested in accordance with the OCIMF SPM hawser guidelines for advanced offshore loading & unloading in all weather.

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene rope, specially treated for maximum strength-to-weight: stronger than steel wire of the same size at about 1/7 of the weight. Unique coating and heat treatment give excellent wear resistance. The flagship of the ROPENET mooring range — OCIMF MEG4 LDBF rated.

Non-rotative, torque-free double braid in high-tenacity polyamide. Round, firm structure grips well, with the shock-absorption nylon is famous for — the workhorse for mooring and towing where elasticity protects the line.

High-performance rope for extreme-temperature working conditions: aramid 12-strand load-bearing core with polyester braided jacket. Fatigue- and abrasion-resistant with the ability to absorb dynamic loads for long periods — and the jacket can be repaired or replaced to extend service life.

Technical Guidance
Customisation
All rope specifications can be customised including: material (HMPE, Aramid, Power-mixed, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Nylon, Polyester), construction (3-strand, 4-strand, 6-strand, 8-strand, 12-strand, double-braided, parallel-strand), diameter, circumference, length (metres, feet, yards), hand feeling (soft/medium/hard/extra hard), twist direction (Z or S), packaging, and colour (any colour available).
Safe Handling
Choose the right rope for the job — consider working load, method of use and environment. Always examine for damage before and during use. Pay attention to twist direction when uncoiling — Z-twist ropes should be uncoiled counterclockwise; S-twist ropes clockwise. Do not work directly under any rope in use. Always use protection pads at sharp edges. Follow splicing instructions carefully.
Storage & Care
Store ropes away from heat sources, direct sunlight, wind and rain, and corrosive chemical substances. Keep in a dry, well-ventilated environment. Water can reduce the strength of Nylon ropes and cause stiffening — store off the ground. Chemical fibre ropes should not be exposed to high temperatures which will degrade performance. Inspect regularly for any signs of wear, abrasion, or damage.
