UHMWPE Mooring & Towing Rope Series
The ROPENET® flagship HMPE range. Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene fibre, specially treated for maximum strength-to-weight — stronger than steel wire rope of the same size at about 1/7 of the weight, floating, with unique coating and heat treatment for excellent wear resistance.

Very strong but very light — the ideal synthetic rope for the heavy shipping industry. Strength higher than steel wire of the same size at only about 1/7 of the weight. Unique coating treatment and special heat treatment provide excellent wear resistance.

A 12×12 construction in UHMWPE fibre: each main strand is itself a 12-strand braid, offering enhanced strength and flexibility over traditional HMPE 12 rope. The design allows more balanced load distribution, significantly increasing durability and performance under stress.

UHMWPE core with UHMWPE braided jacket: extremely high strength and low stretch — 7 times stronger than steel ropes and 3 times stronger than polyester on a weight-by-weight comparison. The jacket adds superior UV and chemical resistance, wear resistance, gripping and a torque-free construction.
